GIRL POW-R
Canada’s all-girl pop band with a unique blend of alternative, electronic and dance pop music. Since their formation on International Women’s Day in 2017, the group has achieved significant success, including over 2.2 million streams globally and a
JUNO nomination for ‘Album of the Year’ in the Children’s category!
Their debut album’s title track “This Is Us” reached #2 on iTunes Canada Children’s chart and #15 in the U.S., all in the midst of a summer featuring back-to-back-(to-back) Canadian and U.S. tour stops to Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
Their music promotes positive attitudes and behaviors, especially among young girls. The band members, aged 6 and up, not only create original music but also engage in acting, dancing, and social causes. With numerous media features and live performances, Girl Pow-R continues to inspire and empower through their artistry and social advocacy.
MAUVE
Mississauga’s alt-pop songstress with an eclectic and playful sound that comes straight from her soul. Her songs have gained over 1.9 million streams on Spotify and 2 million plays on Youtube. Some of her live appearances include a performance on CHCH-TV Morning Live, a headlined performance at the Toronto Music Expo, and as a featured panelist at the Canadian Music Expo. Mauve was thrilled to be selected to play at the 2022 and 2023 Canadian Music Week Festival.
She has been nominated for 3 Mississauga Music Awards and 2 MARTY Awards in the Solo Vocalist category. In addition, Mauve was nominated for Best New Artist at the Niagara Music Awards. She has gratefully received support from popular outlets such as Stingray Music TV channels, Virgin Radio, CBC Music, over 3,900 Spotify playlists, and many campus radio stations across Canada. Songs from her album have been added to official Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube Music playlists.
AZYM
An artist, producer and songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario, Azym is a natural in singing, acting and dancing. In 2016, Azym was scouted to perform in New York City and was the first runner-up in the “International Models and Talent Agency” singing competition as well as the winner of the IMTA’s Monologue Competition.
In 2017, Azym began in the pop scene but later discovered his home in R&B. His sound consists of unique, soothing, easy listening R&B and is consistently growing and evolving. Azym has worked with many upcoming Ottawa artists on features, beat making and songwriting.
IAMREBELWILL
An emerging Canadian pop entertainer, originally from Montreal — now located in Toronto, fuses sensual and irresistible pop melodies, provocative R&B vocals and the pulse of house nightclubs to create a uniquely IAMREBELWILL sound. Coming off the success of his debut EP, RebelFuturism, a seductive, and contemporary pop album that spoke to sexuality, sexual fluidity, identity and equality. Confident in who he is, as a proud Black queer man, Rebel creates music that provides commentary and speaks to his experience and community.
Honing his skills, IAMREBELWILL has opened for musical acts such as 112, Azealia Banks, Bobby Valentino, Ciara, Kranium, and Tinashe. IAMREBELWILL has also performed and appeared in commercials for BET, Disney, Much Music and MTV Canada.
BLACK CREEK REIGN
Where Reggae meets Rock, Black Creek Reign’s sound is a genre-blending act aiming to follow in the footsteps of their influences like like Maroon 5, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, and Bob Marley. Crafting a unique sound that’s rooted in strong songwriting, high energy performances, and relatable lyricism.
The Toronto-based band has played some notable venues including The Opera House, the Horseshow Tavern, the Silver Dollar, and the Hard Rock Cafe. Whether it was winning a battle of the bands at a sold out “Helping The Homeless” event at Revival, collaborating with local legend Danny Fernandes on a slick dance-pop track, or being in the top 5 bands selected out of 2500 bands to fly down to Los Angeles to take part in the “ReAmp Record Deal” contest, BCR has been slowly but surely making a name for themselves. Most recently, they’ve been selected to participate in the 2024 Canadian Music Week Festival!
TORONTO POOR BOY
Born in Jamaica and raised in Toronto, TPB blends his roots and life experiences to create a unique mix of hip hop and reggae. Through pain and adversity, struggles and triumphs, Toronto Poor Boys’ music takes you on a journey from life’s toughest moments to its most joyous, always maintaining hope and pursuing dreams.
His lyrics reflect his setbacks and allow him to tell emotional and meaningful stories with an authentic sound. TPB’s raw, emotional lyrics showcase his determination and belief that no matter what challenges life presents, believing in yourself can make anything possible.
